JACSKBORO, TN (WLAF)- The County Regional Planning Commission met Monday evening, approving several minor lot subdivisions and one major lot subdivision.

First approved on the agenda was a minor lot subdivision for David Seals at Jacksboro on River Road.  Approval was recommended by County Planner Jordan Rockwell. 

Second approved was a minor lot subdivision for Catherine Young Property on Pinecrest Road at Jacksboro. 

The Campbell County Regional Planning Commission met on Monday evening at the county courthouse, approving multiple minor lot subdivisions.

Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for Ashley Johnson on Greene Lane at La Follette. 

“I went and looked at this, it is one lot surrounded by a 40-acre farm. The easement is in good shape, everything looks good,” Rockwell said, recommending approval. 

Planning commission members also approved a minor lot subdivision for Gary Bostic at La Follette on Gaylor Road.

“Seeing as it has water on it and seeing it meets our county guidelines, I recommend approval,” Rockwell said.

The Campbell County Regional Planning Commission met on Monday evening at the county courthouse, approving multiple minor lot subdivisions.

Other business approved was for the preliminary master plan of a major lot subdivision on Main Street/Asbury Road at Jacksboro. 

“It meets our regulations in terms of the whole plan. Every lot has access, I recommend approval,” Rockwell said, adding that he or County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck would have to inspect the easement. 

Final business approved was a preliminary plat for Kevin Ward on Bethlehem Road at La Follette.

Before full approval the property owner has to get the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation to sign off on the septic. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-07/08/2025-6AM)
