Peggy Walden, age 84 of Duff

Peggy Walden, age 84 of Duff, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Wynn Community Church. Peggy was born July 10, 1941, in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Wes and Nancy Nibert.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Virgil (Bill) Walden; granddaughter Kelcey Bolton; stepdaughter LaVerne Vinsant; brothers Merrill, Darrell, and Billy Nibert; and sisters Dorothy Letcher, Sandra Jones, and Jo Rector.

Peggy is survived by her children Rhonda Beth Haggard and Gayle Annette Miller; stepchildren Ben Walden, Lillian Marcum; sister Margie Knipper; her favorite grandson Jeremy; and many other beautiful grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Melvin Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Wade Walls officiating.
