Paving on city streets continues today on South Avenue

‘Rogers Group will pave South Avenue from the four lane to Demory Road’-Casey Boshears

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A concrete crew is expected to begin moving equipment to Beech Street this morning, according to Casey Boshears, Director of Public Works for the City of La Follette. “They’ll have to get everything ready to construct handicap ramps for the corners. That’ll have to be done before the asphalt project starts,” said Boshears.

TOP PHOTOS: Though some folks may disagree, this is perhaps the roughest section of Beech Street that runs from the Co-op to South 9th Street.

City officials say Rogers Group has the contract to pave Beech Street.
