Pamela Sue Ivy, 71, of Rocky Top

Pamela Sue Ivy, 71, of Rocky Top, TN left this world to rest with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven on February 24, 2026.

She was born on February 5, 1955 in Lake City, TN to James and Gladys Cox. Pamela Sue Ivy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be remembered for her faithfulness, humor and quiet nature.

She is survived by her children: April Younker, Marty Ivy (Gina Ivy) and Crystal Rhea (Tommy Rhea); her grandchildren: Jonathan Younker, Abigail Poe (Tyler Poe), Benjamin Younker, Christopher Ivy, Jacob Ivy, and Lyndsey Ivy; her siblings: Ronald Cox (Debbie Cox), Sheila Weaver, Gary Cox (Betty Cox), Benny Cox, Connie Lamb (Ronnie Lamb) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: James A. Cox and Gladys Cox; her grandchild: Katlin Ivy and her beloved feline friend, Sam.

Pamela Sue Ivy was a member of Guiding Star Baptist Church in Rocky Top, TN. She enjoyed time spent with family. She collected cookbooks and owl figures. Her favorite creatures were cats and beautiful butterflies. Her favorite color was purple. Everyone who knew her would say she did things her own way.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
