JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – After a Wednesday night away from game action, the Cougars and Lady Cougars of Campbell High return to Brown Court this evening to host the Powell Panthers. Yes, the same Powell Panthers who hosted Campbell on Tuesday at Hunter Gym. Campbell claimed the girls game while Powell hung on to win the boys match-up.

Campbell shut down Powell 44-26 to win the girls game on Tuesday. The records are 18 & 3 for the Lady Cougars with Powell sitting at 8 & 10. In the district, Campbell is 3 & 2 while the Lady Panthers are 3 & 3.

Powell held off the Cougars to win 58-51 and improve to 19 & 2 while Campbell slipped to 7 & 14. District marks are 4 & 2 for the Panthers and 1 & 4 for Campbell.

Up next for the Campbell is an opponent they have played quite recently…Powell. The Lady Panthers and Panthers make the return trip to John Brown Gym on Thursday.
