The Operation Round-Up board is scheduled to meet on Tue., May 28, 2024
LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – A few cents a month, literally, makes a great impact when we all contribute to Operation Round-Up from La Follette Utilities Board (LUB). For many years, this program has been a major help to charitable organizations in our community. Read more about Operation Round-Up.
Operation Roundup is a program sponsored by LUB as a community service fund-raising program. Each month, customers elect to have their utility bills “rounded up†to the next highest dollar. For example, if your utility bill was $75.45, your bill would be rounded up to $76.00, with 55¢ going into the Operation Roundup fund.
LUB collects the funds, and an independent board of directors meets semi-annually to disburse funds, all of which goes directly to local charitable organizations in our community. The Operation Round-Up board is scheduled to meet on Tue., May 28, 2024.

If you or your organization would like to apply for funds, please complete this form and submit it by Fri., May 24, 2024. If you have any questions regarding the application, please email Kodi Dupuy at kodi.dupuy@lubmail.org. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/13/2024-6AM)
