‘It’s time to replace your smoke detector batteries’- La Follette Fire Chief Jimmy Pack

Assistant Fire Chief Keith Fraley welcomes you by the main fire hall to pick up your free batteries for your smoke detector.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- “It’s time change weekend, and that means it’s time to change the batteries in your smoke detector,” said La Follette Fire Chief Jimmy Pack. The folks at Smith ACE Hardware have provided the LFD with new nine-volt batteries to give to you so you can replace your smoke detector batteries.

Whether you need batteries and/or a smoke detector, the firefighters at the La Follette Fire Department will take care of you.

“If you live in the City of La Follette, we’ll come out and install a smoke detector for you. Just call us and set up an appointment, 423.562.3340,” said Pack.
