Nadine “Dean” Goins Jones, age 90 of LaFollette

Mrs. Nadine “Dean” Goins Jones, age 90 of LaFollette, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023.  She was of the Baptist Faith and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church the majority of her life.  Dean was retired from Imperial Reading Corporation, loved crocheting, gardening, and working with her flowers.  Preceded in death by Husband, George Walter “Walt” Jones, Parents, Emit and Nora Smith Goins, Sisters, Annie Goins and Naoma Jones and husband, Goldie, Brothers, Lloyd “Buck” Goins, Newman John Goins and wife, Lois, Homer Goins and wife, Effie, Clayton Goins and wife, Juanita, Don Goins, and Clifford “Cliff” Goins.    

Survivors:  Daughter, Sue Jones-Taylor; pet bird Bob and Gidget the cat.  Many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Braden officiating.  Interment will follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Monday before Services.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Nadine “Dean” Goins Jones.
