JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputies made a routine traffic stop on Jan. 1 on Appalachian Hwy. at Queener Road. An officer noticed a green Chevrolet 1500 allegedly traveling 51 mph in a 35 mph zone and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, the officer noticed an odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle prompting a search of the vehicle., the report said.

The driver of the vehicle, Tommy Morris, and the passenger, Clark Kitts, were arrested after officers discovered clear baggies containing Methamphetamine and Marijuana in their possession, records said. While the duo was being booked into the Campbell County Jail an additional amount of Methamphetamine was allegedly found.

Officers seized approximately 75 grams of Methamphetamine, a green Chevy 1500, $67 from Morris and $381 from Kitts.

Morris, 57, is charged with manufacture/sell/delivery of schedule II controlled substance, driving while in possession of Methamphetamine, speeding, and criminal conspiracy.

Kitts, 62, is charged with manufacture/sell/delivery of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance, and criminal conspiracy.
