Officials with TDOT say travel is not recommended at this time

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- TDOT crews worked overnight to get priority routes in good shape across the Region. Starting Friday at 12:01am through 6am Saturday there were 118 reported crashes (93 urban, 25 rural) in East Tennessee.  Most lanes are passable on area interstates. As snow tapers off this morning, TDOT crews will be working mainlines, ramps, medians, turn lanes and shoulder areas for cleanup work.  State routes have patches of snow and ice on them across the Region.
