Body found in the middle of a south Campbell County road

OAK GROVE, TN (WLAF)- Reports of a body found face down in a pool of blood on a south Campbell road came in to the WLAF Newsroom just after 3:00 Saturday afternoon. Officials say the body was discovered in the middle of Oak Grove Road near Island Cove Road.

Upon arrival, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputies located the body of a deceased male apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot, according to details from the CCSO.

The white male was identified as a man from London, Kentucky, known to authorities there. Laurel County officials say he had an active arrest warrant. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-11/01/2025-8PM)
