Friday features classic late fall weather, sun and 60s

Pleasant today with plenty of sunshine, and then Saturday will be partly sunny and even warmer. A chance for showers returns for Saturday night into Sunday morning mainly from midnight through daybreak.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- After winter the first of the week, the week ends with classic late fall weather. Enjoy a high of 65 on Friday to go along with plenty of sunshine ahead of a low of 44 Friday night.

Light rain likely in northern Tennessee and southwest Virginia Saturday night into Sunday thanks to a weak cold front. The best time frame for the showers in from midnight through daybreak Sunday.

There will be breezy winds areawide this weekend with near wind advisory level gusts across the highest elevations of the east TN mountains.
