JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – It was the final home game of the season for the Lady Cougars Middle School Softball Team as they hosted Clinton on Chapman Field.

We say farewell to five outstanding 8th graders, Kyra Baird, Cadence Barnard, Hanna Collins, Jenna Leigh Pinkston and Lynley Nelson.

The Lady Cougars are coached by Head Coach Shannon Nelson and Assistant Leonard Turner. Their schedule reads at Horace Maynard on April 20, at Norris on April 27, and they will finish their season on the road at Morristown West on April 28.

The season ending tournament is May 1.
