Mc Donald’s is on target to open in October

From accommodating the town’s high school to a bank and now to a McDonald’s, this corner piece of land has played a key role.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Since our last visit, a lot has changed inside and out as construction continues at the corner of West Central Avenue and South 5th Street. That’s where America’s next McDonald’s will soon open.

The kitchen is taking shape.

The dinning room is beginning to come together, the kitchen and prep area has been chunked full of equipment ready to be installed.

The drive-thru is on the First Baptist Church end of the building.

Pavement will soon follow

The prep on the parking lot is underway as gravel goes down to make way for the paving. And the golden arches sign and other signs around the building are going up.

The dining area will seat around 25-30 customers.
