Michael Wayne Williamson, age 65 of Oak Ridge, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026. Michael was born on August 8, 1960, in Hazard, KY to the late Walter Lee Williamson & Anna Ruth Ballew Williamson. Michael was a loving husband, a great father, and loved his grandchildren with all he had. He was a true charmer, a great story teller, an avid watcher of the news as well as Hallmark, and he religiously tried his luck at winning the lottery. If he wasn’t cooking you something to eat, he was either letting you know every snack available, saying one of his many “dad” phrases, or telling you a story from his childhood! Michael was a spitfire, and his contagious smile and laughter will be greatly missed by us all. “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.”- Michael Williamson

Great grandkids: Brayden, Rhoen, Dominic, Isaiah, Jasiah, Baby Boy Kassner, and Emory

Sisters: Leah Ann Caudill (Hammer), and sons Danny, Punky, and Bubba

Yvonne Brewer (John), and sons Donnie, John, and Donald Lee

Sister-in-law: Pat Williamson, and sons, Rick, Tim, and daughter Angie.
