Michael Anthony Tackett, age 46 of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.  He enjoyed living life to the fullest by fishing, being outdoors, working on cars, and motorcycles. Michael was a senior electrician at the University of Tennessee.

He is survived by father, Teddy Tackett of Caryville; mother, Emily Tackett of Knoxville; wife, Wanda Tackett; sisters, Angela Ward and husband, Roger of Caryville, Susie Stevens and Tom Ion of Maryville, and Rachel Mullins and husband, William of Knoxville; very special aunt/mother, Martha Tackett of Caryville; a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation for Michael will be on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Foust officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to New Vasper Cemetery in Caryville for 11:00 AM interment.
