You can attend tonight’s event in person at West La Follette School; connect to the Lindsay’s video player to watch

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- WLAF welcomes you to its Candidates Forum on Tuesday at 7pm as you get a chance to meet the candidates either in person or by way of one of WLAF’s 10 media outlets. The traditional event will be held on the gym stage at the former West La Follette School, now the West End Community Center, on West Beech Street. It is made possible by Maria Partin, candidate for county clerk, Skeeter’s Tire Barn on Pinecrest Road and Brian Younce and staff at Beacon Finance on North Tennessee Avenue.

The forum is open to the public while also being broadcast on WLAF’s 10 media outlets- WLAF Radio AM 1450 and FM 100.9, Alexa and televised live over WLAF TV 1089 (Xfinity/Comcast), 1450wlaf.com. YouTube, Roku TV, Amazon Firestick, Facebook and Twitch.TV.

The county mayor and sheriff races will be featured. Each candidate will have time for opening and closing comments. Mayor and sheriff candidates will be asked questions.

Candidates from other races will be given two minutes to introduce themselves to the audience. They will not take questions nor be asked questions by the moderators. They will have introductory time only.

Chris Honeycutt, candidate for school board- 4th district

Maria Partin, candidate for county clerk

Marvin Rutherford, candidate for school board- 2nd district

Noah Smith, candidate for state representative- 36th district

Lance Wilson, candidate for county clerk

Darryl Chapman, candidate for sheriff

Jimmy Jeffries, candidate for county mayor

Jack Lynch, candidate for county mayor

Doors will open at 6:30pm.

The forum will be moderated by WLAF’s Jim Freeman and Susan Sharp.
