The City of La Follette announced last week that a McDonald’s is coming to downtown

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Today, the City of La Follette Regional Planning Commission meets one more time before the year is out. That’s Dec. 19, at 5pm, at City Hall.

Demolition of the existing, a former bank, building and construction of a new McDonald’s restaurant with a double drive-thru is on the agenda. The new restaurant is to be located at 237 West Central Avenue, between the First Baptist Church and Main Street Shell.

Also on the agenda is a site plan review for the renovation of an existing building, the former Long John Silver’s, for a medical office. The applicant is Faculty Physicians.

A re-subdivision of three parcels into one at 1712 East Central Avenue request is on the agenda. This applicant is Boardwalk Storage across from Food Lion.
