LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- “We oughta be finished pumping concrete by about 8am or so,” said Rex Adams, construction superintendent, with Hudson Company. The company is charged with building the new La Follette McDonald’s that is expected to open sometime in the fall.

“I pulled onto the lot at 4:45 this morning, and we soon started pumping concrete,” said Kenny Barnes with Dixie Concrete of La Follette who is pictured in the above photo.

Adams notes that the finishing work on the concrete will be done through the day today. “I have a package of lumber due in here tomorrow, and the framers will begin on Thursday. From here, we should move along quite quickly,” said Adams.

  1. Why in the would do we need another McDonalds in this lAFollette Jacksboro area. I just can’t believe this new McDonald’s will have that many customers. It will be great for the homeless in the area that have E BTs they will sell their EBTs or part of them to people will to take them and believe there plenty of people who buy them for cash.other than that I just can’t see the need.
