Marvin “Monty” LaMonte Miller, age 54 of Jacksboro

Marvin “Monty” LaMonte Miller, age 54 of Jacksboro, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 1, 1971, to the late Marvin Miller and Patricia Robinson.  Monty loved to go hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and policing. He retired after 27 years of service with the LaFollette Police Department.

He is survived by his loving wife Kerri Miller; son Caden Tompkins; daughter Rhiannon Tompkins; brother Martin Miller, sisters Sonja Saylor and David and Pam Baker and Craig; and several nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Matt Sandefur officiating.
