Mart McKamey, age 85, of Caryville, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church and a retired coal miner. He loved his church, bush hogging and lawn mowing. He loved his unofficial job title of being Mayor of Stoney Fork and running the roads to make sure everybody was good. Preceded in death by Son: Gregg McKamey, Parents: Walter and Cloda Cross McKamey, Brothers: Odes McKamey, Nephew: Odes McKamey Jr.

Daughter: Charlotte (Sissy) and husband Greg Madron

Son: Keith and wife Emily McKamey

Grandchildren: Kelly and Olivia McKamey, Brittany and Samuel Killion, Micah Wilson, Bethany and Brady Hutson, Hannah McKamey and Brycen, Leah McKamey

Great-Grandchildren: Bennett and Emma

Brother: David and wife Anita McKamey

Niece: Sheree and husband Randy Craig

Nephew: Michael and wife Tiffany McKamey

Sister-in-Law: Shelby McKamey

Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 pm in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. C.W. Fraker Officiating. Family and friends will meet at Cross-Smith Funeral Home on Sunday the 21st at 11 am and proceed to Beech Fork Cemetery for 12 Noon Interment.
