Margie (Sellers) Smith Fiest of Sumter, SC (originally of LaFollette), 87 departed this life on May 7, 2024. She spent 40+ years of her life working as a factory worker with 30+ years at the Shirt Factory (Imperial Reading) in the Cutting Department. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Bill Smith Jr., second husband Louie Fiest, beloved son Steve Fiest, a grandson Johnny Williams, parents Nick and Vesta (Carroll) Sellers; brothers Ray Sellers and Francis Sellers; sisters Esta Mae Sellers, Mildred Helton of LaFollette, Marie Wilson of Jacksboro, Lula Milam of Tipp City, OH, and Joyce Sparks of Aiken, SC.
She is survived by her daughter Debra Williams of Sumter, SC; granddaughters Melissa Brooks (Ricky) of Belton, SC, Heather Brown (Barry) of Sumter, SC and Autumn Fiest of LaFollette; a grandson Dillon Fiest (Sidney) of LaFollette; 10 great-grandchildren Chelsea, Cody (Langdon), Bryce (Jala), Elise, Kristen, Katie, Brandon and Brittany all of SC, Cambree and Canaan of LaFollette; 7 great great-grandchildren Bryce II, Ryden, Avalynn, Hayden, Emberly, Ariyah and Adrian all of SC; sisters Carolyn Norman of Jacksboro and Kathy Harding of Jacksboro; a host of nieces and nephews from Ohio to locally that she truly loved.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 12 PM to 1 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 305 East Beech Street LaFollette. Funeral service to follow at 1 PM with Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating. Interment to follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
