Ridgewood Volunteer Fire Department was paged out Friday at 6:51am

This Dodge pick-up truck was fully involved when firefighters arrived.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- A pick-up truck caught fire before sun up Friday in front of 618 Shady Cove Road in south Campbell County.

“The driver of the truck stated that he was driving to work when the vehicle made a noise and shut off, then he saw smoke coming from under the hood,” said Ridgewood Volunteer Fire Department Chief Dylan Roach.

The driver was able to escape before the truck burst into flames.
