LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The LaFollette Utility Board held its workshop and meeting on Monday evening, approving two personnel policy updates, along with a contract for the county water line project.
Board members approved a Community Development Partners Contract, which is an “administrative contract for the county water line project,” according to LUB General Manager Regina Kennedy.
Evan Sanders is the president of the Community Development Partners company and coordinates between the State Revolving fund, LUB, and the contractors and engineers for the water line project to make sure everything is in compliance for funding for these large projects.
Final business at Monday’s LUB meeting was the approval of two personnel policy updates. One was updating the department’s jury duty personnel policy to make sure it was within line with the state guidelines. The board also implemented a social media use personnel policy. The policy is guidelines for social media use. The purpose of the policy is to “provide clear guidelines for responsible use of social media by employees, ensuring protection of individual rights, LUB’s reputation and confidential information.”
The next LUB board meeting is scheduled for November 24 with the workshop at 6 pm and the meeting to follow immediately after. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-10/29/2025-6AM)
