CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (WLAF)- The General Election for Campbell County is set for Thu., Aug. 6. However, the ballot will not be set for August until after the May Primary.

There are several races that will not be contested on Aug. 6. They are for Constable- Districts 1, 2, 3 & 4 (no candidate qualified for 5th District), Trustee, School Board- Districts 1, 4 & 5, Circuit Court Clerk, Register of Deeds and County Attorney.

Here’s how August ballot is shaping up:

Clerk: Tyler L. King awaits to face the May winner between Republicans Maria Partin and Lance J. Wilson

Mayor: Jimmy Jeffries (R) vs. Jack Lynch

School Board:

District 2- Brooke Longmire Dorton awaits to face Democrat Marvin T. Rutherford along with the May winner between Republicans Emily Suzanne Gaylor and Christopher James Lee Honeycutt

District 3- Randy Heatherly (R) vs. Jacob Perkins

Commission:

District 1- M. David Adkins, Joshua A. Etters (R), David Greene (R), Zachary Marlow

District 2- Jerry Brown (R), Beverly Stanfield Hall, David R. Longmire, Lonnie Weldon

District 3- Dewayne Baird (R), Lawrence (Rusty) Orick, Jason Shetterly, Scott Stanfield, Anthony Terry (R)

District 4- Johnny “Coach” Bruce, Marlana Lester, Devin Oakes, Ray Perry (R), Chris Stanley (R), Nathan Treadway (R)

District 5- Suzette Davenport, Ralph Davis, Ferlin “Clay” Morgan, Dwight E. Osborn, Katrena Powers Reynolds, Pauline Walden Roberts (R)
