Lisa Rose Rollyson Bailey, who left us way too soon on August 30, 2025, at the age of 60. Lisa was born in Harlan, Kentucky on April 27, 1965, to the late T.R. & Thelma Jean Rollyson. She was the beloved baby sister to her brothers Mackie, Johnny, Eddie and sisters, Loretta & Pauline. Though she never sought the spotlight, she lit up every room with her signature crooked smile, feathered bangs, and a knack for being mischievous. Lisa lived a simple life with a love for the outdoors and her pets. She loved fishing, traveling, and “drives” out to the dam. She was a very hard worker. She worked as a sewing machine operator for many years at Greenbrier and Paca facilities. She developed the skill of upholstery later in life and showed her skills in her work with the business (Bailey’s Upholstery) that she shared with her late husband Ray.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father and mother, T.R. & Thelma Jean Rollyson; husband, Ray Bailey; brothers, Eddie & Mackie Rollyson.

Lisa is survived by a brother-Johnny Rollyson; sisters-Loretta Dodson, & Pauline (Bryan) Brown, all from Rocky Top. She was known as Leelee to Nieces-Marika Bray & Tanya Manning; nephews-Tommy Lawson, Joe Chamblee, & Gary (Gator) Lytle as well as many great & great-great nieces and nephews, special friend since childhood, Cindy Dittner, and many cousins and friends.

A service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory by giving someone a hard time – just enough to make them laugh, and by embracing the simple joys of life.
