Mrs. Lecia Lay

Age 88 of Jamestown, Tennessee & formerly of Elk Valley passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at home.  She was born August 19, 1937, in Clinchmore, Tennessee.

     Lecia is preceded in death by:

Husband’s: Levi Morgan & Joe Lay

Father: Levi Daugherty

Mother: Peggy (Wilson) Daugherty

Sisters: Lee Swafford & Ella Mae     

Stepson: Leonard Carroll

Son-in-law: Harold Hicks

     She is survived by:

Daughter: Susan (Carroll) Hicks

Fur baby: Missy Cat

Stepdaughter: Martha Ann Cotner

Stepson: Grover Carroll

Step grandchildren: Billy Lay, J.D. Lay, T.C. Cotner, Destiny Cotner

Special niece & nephews: Donna Shepard, Gilbert Lay & wife Michelle, Gary Lay
