Leach given 17 years in robbery case

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Brandon Leach has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for his attempt to rob a local store last year.

In July 2023, Leach entered the eastside location of Big O’s armed with a knife. Few details about the incident were released by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

In court Monday, Leach admitted his guilt in the crimes.

He pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, theft under $1,000, vandalism up to $1,000 and felony reckless endangerment. The attempted escape charge was dismissed.

Leach was sentenced to 17 years in prison for his crimes.

He was given credit for the time he has served.
