Last workshop for current council and mayor is today

Before a new mayor, council are sworn in, a final workshop for current City of La Follette leaders

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Cliff Jennings is expected to attend his last workshop as the Mayor of La Follette on today afternoon at 5:30 at City Hall. That’s before Wayne Kitts will be sworn in on Dec. 2 to continue serving on council, and Mark Hoskins returns to council after a hiatus. Hoskins won in the Nov. 5 election to fill Phillip Farmers seat since Farmer resigned to run for mayor,, and Kitts also won. Scott Kitts defeated Farmer and two others, Johnny Byrge and Buford Proffitt, for mayor and will also be sworn in Tue., Dec. 2.
