Larry Dan (L.D.) Hamby, age 76, passed away at his home in Briceville, December 1, 2024. He was born August 15, 1948. He loved the Lord and made his preparations to go home many years ago. He enjoyed living life, watching Gunsmoke, and especially his cars. He was a member of the Church of God in Dalton, Georgia.

 He is survived by:

                                His wife of 55 years – Betty Hamby of Briceville

                                Sons – Larry Daniel Hamby of Lafollette

                                Jordon Luckey (Madison Guy) of Briceville

                                Daughters – Brenda Luckey of Briceville

                                Kathy (Matthew) Byrge of Lake City

                                11 Grandkids

                                10 Great Grandkids

Along with a host of family and friends.
