Each remains housed in the county jail; Lancaster has no bond after 18th arrest

JELLICO, TN (WLAF)- A couple of individuals, familiar to law enforcement, have been arrested during a drug bust at a Jellico public housing complex where the sale of meth is among the charges.

Investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant on Thursday morning at Magnolia Terrace A Towers at Jellico and netted two arrests.

Danny Lancaster, 58, and Chasity Malicoat, 44, were placed under arrest and transported to the Campbell County Jail. It was Lancaster’s 18th arrest, the 9th for Malicoat, according to jail records.

Lancaster of Jellico is due in court on July 22 to face charges of felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule II (meth) and VI controlled substances, the manufacture, sale, or delivery of a Schedule I controlled substance and violation of a drug-free school zone. Lancaster does not have a bond.

July 10 is Malicoat’s court date for felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, the manufacture, sale, or delivery of schedule I and II (meth) controlled substances, violation of probation and violation of a drug-free school zone. Bond for Malicoat of Newcomb is set at $100,000 secure.
