

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF) – Yesterday, McDonald’s opened for business. Murial Joe Orick was the first customer through the door. Orick is a longtime customer of the chain. He even had a photo of himself with Ronald McDonald he showed to store employees.
While Orick was the first in the dining room. Shay Phillips was the first in the drive thru.


“We at the city would like to welcome McDonald’s to our downtown,” LaFollette City Administrator Stan Foust said. “We are excited to see what McDonald’s brings to our downtown area. We look forward to it bringing more people downtown along with potential future businesses. McDonald’s will be an addition to our other great eateries and businesses as well.”
The full service McDonald’s is roughly 3,700 square feet with a two lane drive through, according to architectural drawings.

Customers can grab a meal in the dining room from 4:30am until 11pm every day. The drive-through will remain open until 1am.
The LaFollette McDonald’s will be part of the many franchises owned by Faris Enterprises, which has an office in Clinton.
