Lady Cougars set to christen new season tonight

It’s a 6pm tip time for Campbell hosting William Blount

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- “It’s confidence. They’re more mature,” said Campbell Lady Cougar Coach Jason Kitts when asked what he thinks is the difference in this and last season’s squad. Campbell’s goals include doing well in the district, advancing to the region and doing well there. “Beyond the region, we’re anxious to see. I’m excited about this season’s possibilities,” said Kitts.

It’s an all senior starting line-up minus one for the Lady Cougars. Bella Lester, Saylor Hutcheson, Lacey Pemberton, and Carley Kitts are all four year veterans. The other Kitts sister, Jayden, is a mature sophomore point guard.

Tip time is 6pm in this home Hall of Fame game between William Blount of District 4 and Campbell representing District 3.
