LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A La Follette man is due in court in January over his eighth driving on a revoked/suspended license.

Police records reveal that 52- year- old Jeffrey Hugh Wilder of 111 East Central Avenue was arrested Saturday morning around 10. A Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy caught up with Wilder during a traffic stop just north of La Follette on Highway 25W.

Wilder was released from the Campbell County Jail on Monday after signing a release on recognizance (ROR).

  1. How about more than a slap on the wrist and a fine for a change. Maybe they would think twice about re-offending. I think the county just likes the money they make in fines continuously to get strict and enforce stronger measures.
