Tuesday at Jellico and at La Follette on Wednesday

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – ETHRA distributes USDA commodities Tuesday, December 10, at Jellico and at La Follette on Wednesday, December 11.

Commodities distribution at the Jellico Library is Tue., Dec. 10.  The hours are from 9:30 am until 11:30am or until the food is gone.  The address is 104 North Main Street.

On Wed., Dec. 11, at the La Follette Community Center (former West La Follette School at 300 West Beech St.), commodities will be distributed during the hours of 8:30am until noon and then from 1pm until 3:00pm or until the food is gone.  The staff will break for lunch from noon to 1pm.

The staff at ETHRA requests that no one arrive more than 30 minutes ahead of the start time.  Arriving too early creates congestion and confusion.

Everyone must bring a box, bag or crate to carry your USDA commodities food.  ETHRA does not provide containers.

People can only pick up for three households.

In accordance with federal law, both ETHRA and the USDA are prohibited from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

If you have any questions, you can call Renee or Darlene at the local Campbell County ETHRA Office.  The number is 423.562.2948 and extension 5202 for Renee.  Darlene’s extension is 5201.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/09/2022-6AM)

  1. If anyone is willing to volunteer to help give out commodities it would be appreciated. Just come to the old west lafollette school Monday or Wednesday. Thanks ( Nathan)
