JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Meet Kratos. This handsome eight-year-old King Shepherd is proof that seniors still have plenty of love and playfulness to give. He lives for a good game of fetch and loves chasing toys like a big puppy at heart.

He’s a sweet, vocal guy who enjoys chatting with his people and being part of the action. Because of his age and breed, he does have some areas of discomfort, so he’ll need a family who understands his boundaries. He must be walked with a collar and leash only; no harness. Though he loves being near his humans, he shouldn’t be hugged or cuddled to avoid causing him pain.

What does he love? He loves companionship, gentle play, and someone who will respect him and let him enjoy his golden years in comfort and dignity.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who still has plenty of joy to share just in a calmer, more understanding home, Kratos may be your perfect match.

A meet and greet with your current pup, if you have one, is always recommended.

The adoption center, animal shelter, is open Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 5:30pm, at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, next to the convenience center. The shelter’s telephone number is 423-566-8018.
