Wlaf1450Kathy Jean Huddleston, age 69 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 surrounded by family. Kathy enjoyed all sports, but her favorite was the Tennessee Vols. She was a member of First Independent Missionary Baptist Church. Kathy also enjoyed being with her family and attending her nieces and nephews’ sporting events.
She is preceded in death by her father Raymond Huddleston; mother Violet Huddleston; brothers James Huddleston, Roger Huddleston, Raymond Huddleston, and Jerry Wayne Huddleston; sisters Janice Sue Nelson and Tommie Faye Lancaster.
Kathy is survived by her brother Gary Lee Huddleston; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cumberland Village for all of their care and compassion they showed during her stay.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home (305 E. Beech Street LaFollette) with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Whited and Orville Petrey officiating. Interment to follow the funeral service at Woodlawn Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear about Kathy. I went all thru school with her from West LaFollette on. I saw her a few years ago at one of our reunions and enjoyed seeing and talking to her. I will be praying for the family in the days ahead.
