Joseph Dennis Bostic, age 83, of LaFollette

Joseph Dennis Bostic, age 83, of LaFollette passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025. He was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church. He had worked as a Merchant Marine in the construction industry, retired from TDOT and was a lifelong farmer. He was preceded in death by Parents: Rev. Harrison Valentine Bostic, Roxie Ellen Sharp Bostic, Brothers: Jesse Bostic, Hobert Bostic, Cecil Bostic and Teddy Bostic, Sisters: Wanda Jordan, Eva Sanders, June Francisco, Ruth, Ina Mae.

Survived by:

Daughter: Lori Ann Bostic

Sons: Gary Allen Bostic, Dennis Lynn Bostic

Grandchildren: Whitney and Megan

Great-Grandchildren: Maliah, Aria, Jaxon

Brother: Warren Bostic

Sister: Margaret Jane Givens

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Walter Miller Officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Friday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
