Jerry Meadows, age 75 departed this life on Wednesday June 19, 2024. He was born on September 17, 1948.  Jerry proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict from August 18, 1968 through August 18, 1970. He received two Purple Hearts for wounds he received in action, he was awarded the Air Medal for participating in more than 25 aerial missions over hostile territory.

His family at LaFollette Court Assisted Living would like to thank Amedisys Hospice of Knoxville for care given during his sickness and are thankful to have been given the opportunity to give him support and care.

Graveside service will be held on Monday June 24, 2024 at 10 AM at Powell Valley Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie “Bo” Freeman officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.

The family has entrusted the care of Jerry Meadows to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most.”
