JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – Latosha Cureton is free on a $100,000 secure bond as of 12:39 am Friday, according to officials at the Campbell County Jail. Cureton, in her first arrest, was charged in a midnight traffic stop on Monday with driving under the influence followed by a litany of charges.
Cureton was behind the wheel when Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Preston Mullins conducted a routine traffic stop on Logan Street at Jellico late Monday night. It resulted in the search of the vehicle based on information obtained early in the pullover.
Cureton, 34, 928 Hill Street, Jellico was arrested and transported to the county jail at Jacksboro. Officers with Jellico Police assisted Mullins.
Cureton, due in court on April 25, faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, schedule I, II and IV controlled substance, tampering or fabricating evidence, DUI, false reports, possession of a handgun while under the influence, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, driving while in possession of methamphetamine and introduction or possession in penal facility.
