Mr. James Paul Love, age 57 of Jacksboro passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. Paul attended Ivy Dell Holiness Church where he recently surrendered his heart to the Lord. He proudly served in the US Army and Army National Guard serving tours of duty during Operation Desert Storm. Paul also enjoyed anything to do with buying, selling, and trading, and attending car auctions. He is preceded in death by Parents, Auther J. and Lela (Longmire) Love, Sisters, Betty Campbell and Patricia Seiber, Brother, Kenny Pierce, and Grandparents, Bill and Lizzie Longmire.

Paul is survived by beloved Son, James Steven Love; Brothers, Jerome Love and Clarence Pierce (Debbie); Sister, Brenda Cantrell (Jerry); Special Brother-in-law, Harrison Campbell; Special Niece, Christie Tidwell; Special friend and prayer warrior, Gracie Campbell; Several other Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 PM with Rev. Monroe Johnson officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, December 12, 2024, 10:00 AM at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 11:00 AM Graveside Services and Interment. Military Honors will be conducted by the Honor Guard of Campbell County. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. James Paul Love.
