James Monroe Huckaby, age 76

James Monroe Huckaby, born March 27, 1951 passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Cumberland Village Nursing Home. He was of the Baptist Faith. James enjoyed mowing, gardening, mechanicing, bird watching, gospel music, flea markets and visiting his sister June for one minute. Preceded in death by parents: J.B. Huckaby and Trula Mae Polson Huckaby, infant brother; Michael Joe Huckaby, brother: Buddy Ray Huckaby

The family will receive friends 12-2 PM Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Bro. Jackie Goins and Bro. Michael Adkins officiating. Family and friends will go in procession following the service to Powell Valley Cemetery.
