Officers catch up with DUI driver at the entrance to the four lane rock quarry

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Just before 2am Monday, La Follette Police made their first DUI arrest of the day. The traffic stop was conducted along Jacksboro Pike at the entrance to the four lane rock quarry just east of Campbell High.

Officers with La Follette Police, with assistance from Campbell County Deputies, visited with 28 year old Gabriel Benevidez for a while and determined he was under the influence.

LPD Officers are out with Gabriel Benevidez.

Benevidez of 500 River Bank, Jacksboro, is charged with DUI, driving without a license, driving on the right side of the roadway, failure to exercise due care and failure to provide proof of insurance. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-08/19/2025-6AM)
