PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

TOWN OF JACKSBORO STATE REVOLING LOAN CLEAN WATER (CW9 2025-493) Wastewater Treatment Plant IMPROVEMENTS—PLANNING AND DESIGN PROJECT

The Town of Jacksboro on behalf of the Caryville-Jacksboro Utilities Commission (CJUC) hereby gives notice that a public meeting will be held Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 3:00 pm, at the Municipal Building 585 Main Street, Jacksboro, TN to inform the public and to gain public input about the financial impact of the referenced project.  The project entails the planning and design of the WWTP improvements and upgrading treatment systems to include the installation of a rotating drum screen in the headworks and the installation of the fine bubble air diffuser in the aeration basins with blowers and electrical improvements.  The total project cost is $242,500 with a 50 percent forgiveness amount of $121, 250.  The State Revolving Fund (SRF) program has determined that the Town is financially sufficient to obtain the proposed SRF Clean Water Loan in the amount of $121,250.

Notice is further given that the Town of Jacksboro and the CJUC do not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age or against persons with disabilities.
