It’s a workshop day for City of LaFollette leaders

The meeting begins at 5:30pm on Monday at City Hall

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The City of LaFollette holds a monthly workshop Monday afternoon. Promotions are heavy on the agenda beginning with the promotion of Judy Brown to assistant payroll clerk, then promoting Billy Daniels to a full time entry level firefighter, and next is the promotion of Jackson Stagnolia and Jerry Campbell to full time patrolmen and rounding out the promotions are Jeffrey Hicks to a full time operator in the public works departments and Kainen Fernandez to a full time sanitation operator.

Two grants are on the agenda to be discussed; approval of applying for the TDOT traffic light grant for South Avenue and Central Avenue and the Traffic Highway Safety Office grant for the 2026-27 grant cycle.

Other items on the agenda are a beer permit for Vapor Fox LLC (102 N. Mass. Ave., Suite 14), opening a new bank account for the capital projects at Peoples Bank of the South, discussion of the police towing policy and Resolution 2026-03 amending the 2025-26 budget.
