Items approved in county commission workshop to be heard next week

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- The Campbell County Commission had few items to place on the full agenda for next week. At the workshop Monday night, the following items were approved to be heard during the full meeting next week.

• Approving the change of the current maintained distance to .05 miles on Perry Smith Lane to reflect current county records and maintenance limits.
•  A motion to approve amending the 2026 Legislative Agenda to include language opposing the General Assembly repealing the Jackson Law as recommended by the Legislative Affairs Committee
• A motion to approve a resolution opposing the repeal of the Jackson Law as recommended by the Legislative Affairs Committee.
• A motion to approve a resolution requesting Disc Golf at Cove Lake State Park as recommended by the Legislative Affairs Committee.

The county commission will meet Nov. 17 at 6pm at the county courthouse.
