Irene Betty Phillips, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 24, 2025. She was a loving wife of 13 years, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved gardening, canning vegetables, and enjoyed life.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Esther Dickman Krenz; son, Daniel Creighbaum.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Phillips; sons, Doyle Creighbaum and wife Amy of Florida; Michael Daugherty of Florida, and Russell Daugherty of Caryville; and daughter, Jolene Pennington; grandchildren, Lucas Creighbaum, Josh Daugherty and fiancé Natasha, Jordan Daugherty, and Brittany Vermilyea; great grandchildren, Jedidiah, Elliott, Madelynn, Hugh, Everette, Natalie, and Cameron; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday July 26, 2025 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM. The family will meet on Sunday July 27, 2025 at 10:15 AM at the funeral home to go in funeral procession to Queener Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.
