CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- The investigation into a road side death is continuing.

Last week, Audie Green, 61, of White Oak, was found on the side of Highway 25W about a mile south of the Highway 90 turnoff. His vehicle was still partially in the road as he sat there with a gunshot wound. CLICK HERE for related story.

Following the autopsy last week, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are still working the case jointly, according to Campbell County Sheriff Wayne Barton.

The full autopsy report is not back yet, he said.

“We want all of the evidence to be reviewed and examined to make sure of everything,” Barton said.
