La Follette native Hope Hargis shares her talents beyond Campbell County

La Follette’s Hope Hargis, pictured on the front row, second from left, is rolling through Florida ministering with her fellow Carson-Newman musicians and singers.

JEFFERSON CITY, TN (WLAF)- Wheels are rolling on the Florida Worship Tour. The Carson-Newman University Wind Ensemble plus Redemption is serving schools and churches across Florida. The group of college students is leading worship and sharing the hope of the Gospel through music. 

Hope Hargis, pictured on the front row, second from left, is a clarinetist with the Wind Ensemble and plays piano for Redemption. She is a native of La Follette, a graduate of J. Frank White Academy, and a former piano student of Martha Freeman.
