CAMPBELL COUNTY (WLAF)- Educators make a difference in students’ lives every day. For many students, having a school employee who cares and goes that extra mile can be the difference in a successful education and graduation. We’ve all had that teacher, or school employee who inspired us or helped in some way. That’s why WLAF and Eagle Tire Pros salute all of our hardworking educators with a weekly feature.
Hollie Wilson is Eagle Tire Pros Educator of the week. She is the bookkeeper at Campbell County High School.

Wilson was born and raised here in Campbell County.
“I left and went out to western Missouri to live for a few years but eventually came back. I wanted to raise my daughter around family and in the place where I grew up,” Wilson said.
She graduated from Campbell Co. High School in 2004 and went to college at Roane State Community College for Special Education.
Wilson is starting her third school year as the bookkeeper at CCHS.
Prior to working at CCHS she had always worked in the healthcare field.
“Before starting here at the school, I worked in home health at Family Home Care as the Director of Client Services,” Wilson said.
She applied for the bookkeeping position at the high school in the fall of 2023.

“I was shocked when I was offered the job but excited to have the opportunity. My mother, Kim Wilson, is the one who inspired me to follow this career path. She worked here at the school for 16 years. She became the bookkeeper in 2017 and held that title until her passing in 2023. Although they’re very big shoes to fill, I am honored to follow in her footsteps. I just hope to make her proud,” Wilson said
Her favorite part about her job “is the wonderful people” that she gets to work with.
“The staff here is fantastic. They go above and beyond for the students and their co-workers.”
